    I would recommend you take your passport if you really do not want to get a provisional. It is common place (and a good thing) that most places will ask you to prove your age if you look under 25 these days, so it is always good to have it on you. You just need to be careful with it!

    True. However, in order to get a provisional you need to get some people's signatures which still offers an extra level of identification.
