    Hello,

I had achieved a 2.2 in Mathematics from a respectable, top 20 institution. However, during the exam period, i had mitigating circumstances, and was prescribed medication and told to rest, with my exams to commence three days later. I have a doctor's note.

It then became known that i wasn't able to retake my final year exams in late August, but the next academic year, which i am not prepared to do.

My question is would firm that require a 2.1, what are the chances that they would still consider me.

Why are you not prepared (rather than for example not able) to wait to resit your exams?

I have to do it next year, like 2 or three exams. Its hard as it is, with a 2.1 anyway.
