Dare I say Jeremy Clarkson? :awesome: I think he's awesome anyway, as controversial as he may be...he's the only famous person in Britain who says it like it is, he says what everybody else is afraid to express.

I definately think Fry is up there, havn't really met anybody who doesn't like him. I hate to say it but x-factor has made that overrated bag of bones Cheryl Cole 'the nation's sweetheart'. I personally dislike her, orange fake tan, skinny ribs on display, having a cheating d*ck of a husband...this is not Great Britain.

Really? He was annoying on Have I Got News For You, or is that his 'style'?
That episode was arguably one of the best.

    Seriously? Most loved.

Most divisive more like, man I know some people who hate her.

    Lol?

He got a scholarship to study English Lit at Cambridge back in the day, he's completed a hell of a lot in his life and his knowledge of Latin, it's cadence and prosody is amazing.

The answer to this is obviously HRH, but maybe Paul McCartney comes close.

I was thinking James May; the acceptable face of Clarksonism.

But, if you did it in a utilitarian way, more of the country absolutely adore her, and i think if you balance it with the hatred she'd still come out on top
