I'm doing AQA Extended Project on how the recession has hit the country of Iceland to help with my economics/geography A2 subjects. The only thing is, I joined the course a few weeks after everyone else and so missed initial meetings and although I've had a few meetings with my EP tutor about filling in the proposal form and coming up with a plan for my final essay, I have not got a clue about what to do over summer!

I assumed it would just be research into the things in my plan but I've been told from someone else that I am supposed to have a first draft for the essay too? I don't know if the dates and deadlines are specific to the college/student more than being general for everyone but for anyone who did AQA EP or is doing it in their A2 year at college, could you give me a general idea what I should be doing? Like how to research, when to write first drafts etc. I would contact my EP tutor but as it's the summer hols it's hard to get in contact so I thought my best bet was asking here! I know it is supposed to be independant study but I'm at a level where I have no information and I need at least some information and guidance to get me started
