    Disneyland?
Seconded... If I could I'd move there tomorrow.

But since that would cost me a fortune... Canada, Hong Kong was lovely when I went there on holiday a month back...

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland isn't a country? When did that come up?
The question was "What is the BEST country in the world?" and you replied "the UK"
    i was just saying it's not a country :p:

The cleanest, safest, funnest, most welcoming country in the world.

Just give em the NHS and they'd be perfect :clap2:
They/we have the NHS - it is called MediCare and it is crappy: covers emergencies and teeth cleaning.

We also have some of the hottest girls (in Montreal) but other than that you are probably dealing with the most corrupt government in the western hemisphere, people who are literally forcing you to speak French, ridiculous taxation (close to 50% in some cases + 13% on anything you buy), bad roads, about half the stuff you could find in the US (clothes-wise, etc.) and a very unhealthy mix of socialism and capitalism.

Been living here for four years and a bit and can't wait to get to England for uni.

On the plus side, they do have amazing ice hockey teams and a football (or should I say 'soccer' :banghead: ) team that could be beaten by MK Dons.

Ireland because of the standard of living ,it's richer than britain and but is less industrialised
strong fail, it's ridiculously expensive there and the girls are even uglier than they are in England

Have any of you guys been to some of the places you're naming?

I mean, Dubai. Seriously? You think that's a nice place to live? Maybe if you're an assexual businessman.

Sweden? Have you guys been there? It's seriously cold. I mean the UK has terrible weather, but Sweden can take the piss in the winter. Most of the tiny population of Sweden try to be anywhere else - the ice and snow is insane. Also where in Sweden? I mean it has a few cities; Stockholm being the largest place, but even so you can see most of it in a couple of days. Mostly it's villages and farms up north, lots of countryside...

Switzerland? Seriously? OK it's absolutely beautiful - Interlaken is probably the most stunning place on earth...but I mean the capital Bern is a joke - you can literally see everything in about 30 minutes - and I swear I'm not exaggerating; it's tiny and like a ghosttown. Also everything in Switzerland is astronomically expensive. Geneva is literally THE most boring place in the world. I think the average age there must be 105. Switzerland is just not an exciting place.

Anyway - I vote Spain, Italy or Australia.

When it comes to standard of living, it beats most countries though (including Spain!). But even the standard of living doesn't quite make up for the weather in November. (I'd say it's not necessarily the snow and the ice that's the problem, not in the southwest at least, but the snow and the ice and the cold and the storms and the lack of sunlight and the horizontal rain and the complete and utter lack of anything green and alive outside for 6 months a year, it makes you want to kill yourself. And Brits complain about the weather in the UK, eh. Weaklings.)
