    is that when freshers starts or is that the week after (when ur actual course starts)

    You will be told in your enrolment email/paperwork.

    When was it last year tho..I may be going away on a trip so need to make sure they dont clash lol

    Last year it was the 22nd, that was when you went and signed in, and it was freshers week. Course started on the 29th.

    The first day of term. But you can physically be allowed in on the Sunday.

    You'd arrive at halls on the 20th of September , the first week is from the 21-25 September - whether you'll get teaching during then depends on the department.Physics and Astronomy didn't start until the second week but I had a few Maths lectures in the first week of term this year.It won't be very taxing though , so I'd not worry.
