I don't get this. Most people in the UK have an ambition to move to London - it's where the best jobs are and it's just more fun than... Hexham, say. Similar thing in America with New York. So many from down under end up in London though, why not Sydney? I can understand Kiwis leaving NZ because it must be boring, but Australia is surely a more fun place than the UK.

I'm not much help I don't understand why anyone would want to move to London - for me it's just not somewhere I would want to live/work, a short visit to see the sites and enjoy some of the fun things there, maybe. But each to there own I guess
I know I'd definately rather live it up in sunny Austrailia - or even New zealand - without getting bored:o:

Because they may want to visit other countries in Europe as well. Its easier and less expensive from London than Sydney.

I know where I'd rather be. (Hint: it's not Australia).
