A recent CT scan abroad have revealed that I have an ectopic tooth growing in my left paranasal sinus. It's suppposed to be an upper left wisdom teeth that isn't growing where it should be.

When I complained of constant muscus discharge and sometimes blocked nose the GP in england thought I was allergic so just gave me hayfever medication or steroid sprays and they certain didn't recommend to x-ray me otherwise i would have found this out in England.

It seems to be a rare problem and I dont' think the doctor I saw here were too experienced either.

So has anyone here experienced this problem or know anything more about it? There are a lot of medical journals on this cos it's rare but I can't really understand them.

Just to prove I'm not lying, here are 2 of the CT scans:

    The question is...

    ...Go to the ENT Specialist?

    OR...

    ...Go to the Dentist?

    You decide :awesome:

Can I just say...that's hilarious. You should let it grow and then run off to the circus. You'd be like the bearded lady except not as interesting since people would have to look at scans of your nose and you'd just stand beside them nodding wisely whilst the little children pointed and laughed raucausly.

The doctor nose what he's talking about and I think he's telling the tooth. 'Snot fair though, but you have to get this procedure right; just make sure he doesn't blow it.

Edit: and at the end they can discharge you.

My mum had it, except it was all her adult teeth (near enough). They just let them grow down, and help the space open with braces..
