Hehe, I see your point. To clarify myself, I'm sure that one can go to CASS and get a good job afterwards, HOWEVER that is not to say you're making it any easier for yourself. Going to a school like Imperial or maybe Durham or Bath would make it much easier for you in the application process. I'm just talking pure numbers from each university. You'd have to be in the top people in your class at CASS to get one of those IBank jobs, whereas many people from Imperial would be getting those kinds of jobs.

Just because the companies go to Cass doesn't mean that hire students or hire for the right division. For example, working at Goldman Sachs in the IB department is a bit different than their Fund Accounting/Financial Reporting Department...The 60% IB ratio for Imperial is much higher than that of Cass...

right no wonder you defend Imperial and make us Cass sound like some back office staff workers, you think someone pays 18000sterling in MSc for back office staff role? forget that. I am not going to argue whether imperial has 60% into IB or not, thats not my concern as there is no official data for that and as you say what role are they in the IB? who knows.

I am trying to be unbiased here. I am not saying we all in Cass get IB work, You need to be practical, hard working people who have talents, regardless what good school they are from gets the job they want. Remember both schools has its strengths. Imperial is more about broader aspect, while Cass are more on the specialist sides. Both are good depending what you like.

If you still think we are just useless back staff office future people then please ask my friends who are gettings internship in front offices and jobs in front offices as well. I am not saying we all do work in front office. but we are not just back office people.

Be pragmatic and stop insulting other universities. Imperial and Cass are different, each with their own strengths.
