    does chemical straightening work, I saw the packets you can get in boots but I have quite thick hair, has anyone done it & have it work for them.

    I remember some time last year someone was moaning about using this product and it badly damaged their hair (can't remember the users name).

    So IMO: I wouldn't touch the stuff.

    I bought it last year, not sure I applied it completely right, but it didn't make a jot of difference to my hair. I used it again later in the year, and still no impact.

    I read lots of different reviews on here, some saying it damaged their hair, others saying it was amazing.

    All in all I'd say avoid it, and consider going for salon treatment instead, if you can be bothered- I couldn't.
