Since I was 14 I've suffered with acne, my parents said I would grow out of it. However I'm now 20 and still have bad acne which is now getting me down. I'm starting university in september so was just wondering are there any treatments i.e cream, tablets that I could get from the chemist which could improve the acne. I've tried all types of face wash and nothing has worked. I don't want to go to the doctors cause I'm worried that they may think I'm wasting their time.

    Thanks for any response's

Doctors definitely won't think you're wasting their time. The emotional impact of acne is well known and untreated acne can lead to permanent scarring. Book an appointment with your GP and they should be able to offer you a variety of options.
