I am filling in a form for my work experience starting on the 27th and was wondering where exactly do I place the FSMQ? Is it considered a GCSE or an AS?
    Thanks

    It's neither.
    It's a free-standing maths qualification.

Yes, thanks I do know that.
My problem is where to place (rank) it when filling in a form about qualifications, i.e. before, amongst or post GCSEs?

When did you take the exam? Isn't it during your GCSEs?

No, I took it a year later. But I sat the GCSE a year early, hence my dilemma.

I'd stick it as an AS as you cover A level topics in it...

Thank you. I'll put it in the box of post GCSEs qualifications.

It is ranked between GCSE and AS. It is designed for those who have completed GCSE, so in that respect it is considered post-GCSE.
