    Hi (:

I've filled in my previous exam results on UCAS - GCSEs, etc, but I'm not sure how to do my music exams.

I passed my grade 8 flute with merit (ABRSM) in December and my grade 5 theory a while back, but I'm not sure whether or not to put in my other grades, as I have done them all, over the course of about a decade.

If anyone could help, I'd be really grateful (I'd rep if my rep had any power!).

I don't have any experience of this really, but intuitively it would make sense to only put your highest qualification for each instrument. So just the grade 8 with merit and the grade 5 theory? There doesn't seem much point listing a load of music grades when they are all surpassed by the grade 8/grade 5, unless they're for different instruments.

Hiya! Like Stu has said, there's not a huge amount of point in putting all of your grades. The only case in which this might be a good idea is if you're applying for a Music degree (or related course) and haven't been learning for a very long time and want to show how much you've achieved in a short space of time (e.g. a friend of mine only started playing musical instruments aged 12, whereas most people start from 4+, so it was good for her to show how much she'd done when applying for her Music courses)

Okay, I thought that'd be the case.

I'm applying for Physics (and PhysNatSci) but I didn't want to put myself at a disadvantage by only putting my latest grade (:

I just put in my Grade 8 Piano Practical and the Grade 5 Theory (even though you need the theory to pass exams above grade 5 practical, but "meh" :p:) Mine was a History degree though.
