    I have a boyfriend, but i'd go for mixed, it's nice to have some male friends living around you. I've been at an all-girls school for 6 years of my life, so definately, i'd go mixed :P

    Why? Blokes are a valuable addition to any household - they'll help you with the heavy stuff, they're good at breaking tension, and they help to dissolve arguments, in my experience. I couldn't stick living with just girls - if you didn't get on, there would be SO much tension...

    All my mates are blokes so i just wanted to get some good girl mates for once... its a hard decision.

    I lived in a single-sex flat when I was in halls. It wasn't my choice, but it worked out absolutely fine Of course, there were some rifts, but nothing really awful. We stayed in a single-sex flat for a second year, which was fine Seeing the state of our friends all-male flat made me glad to be living in an all-girls flat to be honest! Living in a mixed house this year, I have no idea what to expect!

    Diversity is always nice. Mixed is to be preferred as far as I'm concerned. There are pros and cons with same gender accommodation but I don't know... it would be absolute hell if you didn't get along with someone.

    I had a Girls-only floor last year. That was cool. Couldn't deal with a girls-only HALL though.

    I'll be in mixed, I think it would be way to *****y in an all girls flat!! Although, generally guys are more messy but I'll cope (hopefully) with the mess.

    Am single - I'd go for mixed. Mainly becuase i get along with males as friends better than females. :/
