I currently read the Guardian quite religiously atm, and i was hoping to do the same when i get to uni. Does anyone know if papers have a special student price? I would rather pay the higher price of the guardian rather than pay for something crap like the sun :p: Thanks in advance

Aye, in your student union. 30p for a Guardian IIRC.

I found this on the Guardian website so it might come in handy. http://www.guardian.co.uk/studentvouchers/pickup

Alternatively, you can often get vouchers that you can use at any newsagent to get a discounted price. Google is your friend here, but to get you started:

    Times discount vouchers
    Guardian discount vouchers

Campus newsagents are severely discounted, yes. Independent is 40p, Times, Guardian etc are 25p I think.

Guardian and the Times are 30p which is brilliant and I didn't realise it until I started working in the SU shop in May. The Sunday Times is reduced to 80p! I'm sure the other big Sunday papers are too.
