Okay, so I woke up today to find that my expensive La Prairie moisturizer had disappeared. It was nearly empty, but had a little left to last me the week.

So, I went downstairs thinking that it had been put in a drawer or something. To my shock, it was poking out of the bin! It was slimy and amongst food from last night. I lost it. I rely on this moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated and smooth, I can't deal with dry skin. So, I stormed into the study and confronted my mother. She explained that she presumed the moisturizer was empty, but I found that completely unacceptable and screamed in her face. I swore at her and threw things around the room. She's now disappeared upstairs, I think she's crying.

I feel slightly bad, but what she did was totally out of order, as it will take several days for an order to arrive. Should I apologise or get her to pay for the new moisturizer? Which I was considering until I saw she was upset.

Oh. My. God. Grow the hell up! Your skin isn't going to die because you left it for a week without moisturiser. Go upstairs and apologise for being such a spoilt little brat!

Patch it up in the meantime. I know the problem with the dry skin, stuff like vaseline and general moisturisers just about keep your skin together for the short term.

You feel slightly bad for blowing a fuse when your mother made a slight mistake! Get real and grow up!

I mean if you are going to make your mum cry at least make it for something worthwhile. Like if you get angry at her because she taped over Robocop 2 or because you broke your brother's nose.

Put a bag over your head, and a sock in your mouth so your mum doesnt have to see or listen to you.

WOW! What a nasty, vicious reply. Do you know what it feels like to have dry skin? She knows that I rely on my La Prairie. Wouldn't you expect to be asked before your personal property was binned?

    Comes down to two things.

    Moisturiser, or your mum's happiness.

You prefer moisturiser, your life revolves around making yourself 'prettier', so... meh.

Leave home and never come back.

I'm sure all of us have gone mad, when your mum/dad has broken/disposed of something you need/rely on or like. However granting your age is probably 17-19 i think it's a little bit immature.

You just hurt her feelings and disrespected your mother over a bottle of cream. Go apologise. You shouldn't even be asking us what to do because you should know it yourself.

But if she does this constantly (ie throws your stuff into the trash) then find a way to get the message across that your stuff should not be touched. My mum used to throw away my stuff all the time, like important notes, art coursework, homeworks, pens etc stuff she thinks is trash but are actually rather important to me, and it got on my nerves so much.

SO talk to her, explain to her, and be serious about it. BUt dont throw stuff. It sounds like you have a bad temper if something like that can set you off. Try to control the way you release your anger. And just remember to let things go

Isnt that type of moisturiser like £200? Troll fail imo. Even if this isn't a troll, you're a fool for spending that much on some ******** moisturiser.
