I was bored and decided to search for when mark schemes etc for the latest series of exams would be available when I stumbled upon this from Edexcel...

"The schedule for publication for the Summer 2009 examination series is as follows:

The new GCE for 2008 question papers - the week beginning 22 June.
All other question papers - the week beginning 29 June.
All Mark schemes - the week beginning 20 July
Examiners’ Reports - electronic Results Day for the qualification."

So uh I can start looking at mark schemes roundabout now?

Argh just realised it's only teachers and what not who can access them anyhow. Although I guess it does signify that all marking for edexcel papers has likely ended by now.

Yep. Sometimes a mark scheme gets released or accessed by somebody on TSR and shared around, but mostly we can't access them until well after results day.

Though last year, a sneaky URL manipulation allowed us to access all Edexcel exams and mark schemes sometimes hours after the exam was over! It's pretty harmless though, we cannot cheat or influence our results after we've done the exams. But they still patched up that bug.

Some bloke in the maths forum devised the formula for getting the stuff for this year and managed to get the maths mark schemes among others but I think he got banned and the thread was certainly deleted.

    What?!

Petition to bring him back, and his glorious thread?

Hmm, if he managed it though... I'm sure it would be based on the January URLs which are different to last years (I know it's pretty sad to know this but I just checked) but I'll give it a go now.
