    For an international student.

The basic purpose is to pay the fee through direct debit.

And my only criteria, if any, is the ease of access. (in terms of distance from where i am - Warwick University).

So you're paying in from an international account and the money's going straight out via direct debit?

You'll need a current account (a regular account from a high street bank with a really poor interest rate and usually a debit card).

If the money will be in the account for a while you'll need a savings account (one with decent interest - http://www.moneyfacts.co.uk/money/sa...-accounts.aspx )

They're all pretty much the same. Check that they don't charge too much for paying in from abroad; I had to pay £20 or something in America to transfer money from the UK.

I'm also wondering about this. I'm going to be transferring a lot of Australian money into a UK bank account, so I'd really like to find one with high interest/good interbank exchange rate.
