ok. im gonna get attacked for this post, i know.

basically, the other night i was out with one of my best friends drinking. we had a great night, dancing around and being idiots. then it came time to go home, and i said he could sleep at mine (he always does anyway, its never been an issue). so one thing led to another and we slept together. (we have actually slept together before but i wasnt in a relationship at the time.)

so yeh, i have a boyfriend. hes friends with my friend as well. quite good friends actually, i met my boyfriend through him...im not going to tell him though. noone can convince me to tell him!

me and my friend swore we wouldnt tell anyone and i havent told a soul (until now obviously)...and i dont think he has either.

    ****** up situation really!!

im not looking for advice really i just needed to tell someone before i exploded.

One of you will probably end up slipping up and telling someone. Personally I would do what you've already decided on and try to keep it a secret for as long as possible. This may not be the best advice lol but that's what I would do.

sure it's bad and she now regrets it but what's done is done. There's nothing left to do. I understand why you don't wanna tell your bf but one way or another he'll find out and he'll be even more mad at you for not telling him. but you didn't tell us for how long you've been dating your BF and for how long you've known your friend. Just ask yourself if this was just an accident or if it may happen again. You can't fool your bf and make mistakes like that.

Well done. You obviously aren't worth being trusted - and saying you were drunk isn't an excuse. Alcohol lowers or removes inhibitions - so if you tupped with this friend of yours when drunk, you obviously wanted to anyway.

She's only doing what a lot of girls would do, at least she's not trying to justify it.

Who's to say her boyfriend hasn't been casting his web overseas...?

You might not have been looking for advice, but I'll give you some anyway:

tell him so he can get rid of you and find someone more deserving.

    The two options you have...
    1. Keep it quiet, hope neither of you slip up
    2. Come clean, hope your relationship pulls through.

Either way, your boyfriend would rather being told than finding out months down the line, then at least you're being honest with him.

By the fact she and her friend have slept together before, chances are she did anyway. Hence that post was practically irrelavent and doesn't help any advice which the OP is asking for. We all make mistakes, so I'm sure by your own rule none of us are able to be trusted.

I'm sorry, but just because you've had a few drinks is no excuse at all. This is pretty bad. If it was me, I'd probably go insane with guilt, so i'd say the best thing to do is tell your boyfriend before he finds out from someone else...then the situation would be made even worse cos he'd wonder why you didn't tell him instead. How long have you been going out with your boyfriend for anyway?
