Hi I was thinking of arranging a trip to look round UCL and KCL and then going to the Emirates Cup on Sunday August 2. Few questions... Would we have enough time to look round both Unis and then get to the Emirates for 2.00? Would it be wise to get a underground day pass or something of the like? how much would underground pass plus train from MK central to London cost? Any help is welcome, thanks.

Hey, well it's definitely possible though you'd have limited time at the unis - though being a Sunday I doubt much will be open and instead you'll just have to have a wander round.

MK - Euston is £9.55 on East Midlands Trains / £12.30 on Virgin which is slightly quicker... from Euston you can walk to the UCL campus (5 mins) then get the tube from Russell Square to Covent Garden and walk to the KCL Strand campus (I guess that's the campus you want to look at?). Back to Covent Garden, Picadilly line up to Arsenal for the Emirates cup then Victoria line takes you from Highbury & Islington back to Euston back to MK.
