I dunno, maybe thats why I started this bloody thread? Use your common sense!
i am using my common sense.

my common sense tells me you are an idiot. and you should leave your poor uncle alone, i don't imagine you would be too pleased if he told everyone you watch porn  how old are you? five?

Just say to the one who watches porn "Be careful of what websites you go on, and what is being downloaded." Then if it happens again just say "Stop watching porn now, i'm bored of fixing your computer, you perv."

I'm really good with computers, and I can easily see know what people get up to. My uncle had problems with pop-ups and viruses on his computer, and I fixed them. Within, a week, the problem came back. I found that the cause of the adware was porn, because the person watching it deleted the history, but not the forms, and it was from the forms that I concluded that someone was watching porn. My other uncle is watching the porn because my uncle that told me to fix the problem isn't as smart as to hide his footsteps and hes very religious. I am someone that gets irritated very easily, so I'm really annoyed with the fact that my uncle teases me about the fact that although I claim to be a computer expert(which i don't), I've made the problem worse. If I grass, the uncle that watches porn will know that I grassed, and that will probably damage our relationship, and will make his mother and my other uncle go mad. What should I do.
    'Grass'! I would.

Tell him the problems been caused by a website he's been on, and that you've fixed it, but you couldn't find out what website it was from.

The above. Or talk to whoever he leans on for his financial welfare if any. maybe your other uncle who asked u to fix it. Are these two uncles brothers? if so, are they on friendly terms? if yes, then talk to this uncle who asked you to fix the PC..tell him what u found out. and ask him to explain or take action against the porn-watching uncle if necessary.By the sound of it, it looks like this porn-watching uncle of yours is unemployed/financially dependant on someone. Talk to whoever is responsible for meeting his financial etc needs.

Just hint that he should stick to safer sights or be careful were he goes. Don't think there is any reason to tell anyone else, it wouldn't accomplish anything.

I didn't start this thread for gossip, and its not the religious one that watches, in fact the one that watches is quite messed up.
allright, well anyway gossip is light informal conversation or chit chat which is what is occuring on the thread, dont attack me for trying to make the best of a bad situation

Sorry if you think I'm attacking you, its just that I'm easily irritated and I have a habit of over-reacting. I argue with my parents everyday, its like WW3 in my house.

You are incredibly perceptive. Your right, they are brothers, and the one that watches porn is financially dependent on both my other uncle and his mother(they live with their mum lol). My uncle that wants me to fix the laptop, he is a very quiet person that doesn't get close with anyone and has alot of issues with pretty much everyone in the family. Plus there have been quite a few rows recently, not with the one who watches porn, but with the rest of the family. Well part of me wants to tell him, coz its the right thing to do, but the other part is worried about the consequences.

Why is it the "right thing to do to"? If your nephew caught you having a **** over a magazine would it still be right for him to tell people about it? Does the fact it's over internet pornography make it any more wrong?

It's right because it will stop the risk of viruses. I don't know the full extent of the threat, and i won't if he keeps downloading porn. Like i mentioned before, previously, there laptops broke down because of viruses.

    Watch it with him ftw
I don't like to see good posts go unrewarded, so:

    LMFAO this.

Also, what the **** are these forms you speak of?

I think people are missing the point somewhat. The porn-watching uncle does have the right to watch porn, yes, but on his religious brother's computer where he's messing it up with ads and (potentially) viruses? That's not nice.

Assuming you know how to delete the "forms" or whatever you called them, maybe you could write some instructions down and give them to the porn watcher, explicitly mentioning the virus threat?

Take it on the chin, seriously. Otherwise it could get very embarrassing for both of you.
