:console: You seem to have crappy luck with housemates Tru
They're nice enough, but it's always right outside my door- I don't really know any of them, and I'm terrible in groups (social anxiety) so I tend to look unsociable. Of course this morning what with the sleep and chairs being in front of my door etc I was pissed off and unsociable :awesome:

However one housemate's boyfriend does appear to have become an unofficial fifth person of the house :lolwut:

    Just got back from shopping

I now have a washing line in my room since an airer is too expensive (and would be a pain to bring back here, DAMN TOP FLOOR!). It's draped across the room at the minute, so it looks like I've been setting traps :awesome:

And I feel your pain about unruly housemates! They constantly wake me up at 3am when they get back and they make such a mess! Yesterday morning I woke up to find ketchup all over the kitchen cupboards, and there are other messes I'd rather not go in to. They also seem to be keen Kleptos and have taken many things. I once woke up and nearly tripped over the wet floor sign they put outside my door, and then there was the inflatable dolphin ... The cake they covered my door in ... the kiwi they squished against my door ... the orange peels attached to my door ... BAAAAHHHHHH

That and I am also socially anxious (am seeing the uni's mental health and welfare person soon to see about a diagnosis of something XD)

Currently washing a few pairs of underwear in my bathroom sink, because it's £2 per load of laundry and I don't really have enough darks to make it worth it yet!

I have social anxiety/phobia (I forget which, it was over a year ago :awesome:) so life at Uni can be a bit **** as I'm terrified of groups :gah:

Wow, I feel fortunate that the students I was with in my halls of residence were respectful and, um, normal? :erm:

It's probably more a case of me being abnormal :awesome:

But do they have to come to this house everytime? It's not as though the living room is massive or we even have a TV (they were watching something on a laptop)

I was in a member of the drunken klepto group :mmm: I went a bit mad in 1st year

By the end of 1st year our kitchen had:
    a 6ft inflatable Malibu bottle
a 8 ft long Budweiser banner
    a 4ft Ramp sign and a 5ft Flood sign
an entire cupboard of various glasses stolen from various pubs/clubs
an inflatable sheep (have no clue where we got that)
    about 6 optics
too many building site notices to count
    4 traffic cones
    and randomly a brick :dontknow:

I was referring collectively to both LLoT and yourself, but especially the state of the kitchen LLoT shares. Not so much now, but back then at 18, I was particularly argumentative. I caused a big fuss when a student decided to smoke in the corridor, not in the kitchen or outside, so I daren't think of what I would have done had I found the kitchen in that state. Probably sent a formal complaint to the University to get them kicked out or something.

My kitchen was incredibly tidy, largely because I get very funny when things aren't in order. I'm finicky about consistency. So no traffic cones or bricks.

Our floor was all girls, so the kitchen was quite clean and no one left their messes lying for long - we just had a thing for 'decorating' our kitchen with stolen goods.....the place was really bleak looking when we moved in, it was necessary! :giggle:

I don't know XD I think I'm just going to see what dark clothes I have on either monday or tuesday and go and wash a load of darks then ... I'm not even sure how to divide my clothes up properly XD Do I have to separate all the colours, or is it fine to was dark blue, dark red etc. together, and also together with black?

I'll probably go back to London on the weekend of the Anime Expo and think about going (but actually end up staying at home and downloading all the anime I will have missed while at uni because of the damn network blocking torrents and the fact that I only have my netbook to connect to the internet because my main laptop wont connect to the network because of a faulty ethernet port ...)

Hmm ... I should probably buy train tickets now so that they're cheaper XD Last time I checked it was like ... £50 or something ...

Ah, that's not too bad then. I had this image of some chaotic space with random objects lying everywhere. If there's order, that's okay. In my case, because I attended a specialist arts university, I was living with a product designer who replaced the furniture with these Habitat-esque looking tables and chairs, and an artist who would place her sculptures all around our communal area, including the kitchen. My contribution was my stencil on the wall (we had to paint over it when we left). It was like some eccentric art exhibition.

The 3 girls are the ones making all the mess here! There's me, another guy, a nice and tidy girl, and then the three mess-making ones XD

I'm just glad I've made a few friends who are my kind of people A lot of people I've met are more like ... the people I will know but wouldn't actively hang out with most of the time.

I can believe it, my friend Amalia from Greece had the most untidiest room. You couldn't literally see the floor. You had to physically jump from the entrance to the bed. It became something of a competition. I always remember that one time when I was sitting on her bed with my friend Mitsuki and we both noticed a dildo amongst the mess on the floor. :erm:

Oh a lot of girls are messy thats for sure, but we made it a rule that our messes had to be confined to our rooms

I like to keep the kitchen/bathroom etc clean, but I currently have a pile of snacks/drinks/misc in a pile on my floor, and my collection of empty cans is starting to grow :mmm:

I'm struggling to find something to watch. None of my "want to watch" list is that enticing. I fancy watching anime, but nothing is really grabbing me.

I'm just really glad we've got en-suite so there isn't another communal room for them to mess up!
