    Well i want to get a bit more "thonker" and muscley and was wondering what is the best protein shake?

    What would you personally recommend?

    whey is good for post workout as it is absorbed very quickly

    casein is good before bed and when you wake up as it is absorbed slowly

    Assuming you take 2 per day (recommended serving) of 25g. A 5lb bag would last you 45 days.

    agree with brotherhood! I use the same one from myprotein.co.uk and
    lasts over a month. The prices on this site are a lot cheaper than brands such as Nitro tech and yet as effective.
    Have a look at www.muscleandstrength.com
    helped greatly in my weight training program.

    most protein is the same, so just go for cheap stuff, but if youre new i wouldnt go for unflavoured, might put u off

    Not all of it though, the stuff from Holland and Barret is crappy compared to the MP stuff

    Brewers yeast, 50% + protein by weight.
    Has a ton of B vitamins and other exotic nutrients, only £10 a kilo inc. P&P.

    omfg... have spent sooo much money on maximuscle diet shakes, thinking regular shakes will have more calories, but NO! Same amount of calories, less even for some of these things on myprotein.co.uk. Ahhh, bummed, and ordering.
