some of them are interested in modules, some just in overall degree

if it was an accounting/business degree they probably won't care which options you took

I would advise picking modules that give you the most exemptions but I know at Liverpool the Accounting degree has core modules that give exemptions and then optionals are just general modules like HR, Strategy, etc.

good strategy but they aren't that bothered if you picked a module which didn't have an exemption over something else that did - and some firms sometimes make you do an exam even if you have an exemption

Speaking of exemptions, who are more interested in you having them- Big Four or industry firms?

I don't know it will save them money if you don't have to sit some exams but if you don't know the subject matter well enough it will cause them hassle so sometimes they make you do the exams anyway
