APPARENTLY, THEY DONT VALUE THEM AS MUCH.!!?

A friend of mine has done Alevels in humanities mostly and now decided she wants to do nutrition and dietics at Kings college London but they require A Levels in sciences. So i think she wants to take a year out to an Access course now, if never even heard of them? Is anyone applying with access qualifications?

Im a bit worried for her to be honest, she's really smart and i dont really want her to be taking time out to do Access or whatever when she's already got qualifications, what is access even? Thanks guys

I did English there, and there was a woman on my course who had done an Access course.

Yes i applied there after doing Access, but they rejected me.
When I called them up, they said the course was full up and too competitive etc, what a lame excuse.

Basically the point is that they prefer 'straight A level' students over 'access students'

Oh and just read your thing again, access course is for someone who doesnt have any other formal qualifications e.g. gcses, A levels. Its a one year course, and you can go in higher education after it.
