I hate AQA!!!!!!!!

I am so pissed off at the moment. I had my English Literature Exam today, and I think I did totally **** in it!

GCSE English Lit Exam AQA

Section A
I was doing To Kill a Mockingbird, of which I did a question on the importance of family of which unfortunately I did not complete. I did most of the bullet points ( that I listed for planning) that I wanted to, but at the end of the exam i was not satisfied. Does the marker take into account your planning and hopefully give you extra marks, though you havent finished?

Section B

I compared Endings to Havisham and 'The Laboratory', and then compared the endings from Simon Armitage and a poem from pre-1914.

I didn't quite complete this but compared all four poems nevertheless. My answer was all over the place so I cocked that one up!

I'm really bitter and down at the moment, I really do hope I can get a C or even a B.

AQA should give you more time on these exams. "Speed is of the essence" F*** O**

I did the sam poetry question but I ran out of things to say . Usually though, I dont have enough time.

Which poems did you do for part b (the armitage and pre-1914 ones). I did Kid and Sonnet 130.

i totally rushed the ending on Section B

I do hope the grade boundaries have been lowered due to the shortage of time and disallowing notes in our books...

'The Man he killed' and 'Hitcher'.

I'm A bit confused

On section B- Do you have to compare all four poems together

Or compare two together

And then compare the next two together
I agree totally. its harsh how they have reduced the time from 2hrs to 1h 45 and the fact that they said u cant take notes in.
i was gunna do that question on the endings but then decided 2 do the one about the speakers attitude.
i wudnt worry uve probley done betta than u think

What is?
im really proud because for the first time ever i finished an english paper and had 1 minute at the end to read through it. I did Q 2 on the short stories in the anthology and Q23 on the poems. I think i did quite well on the first one, but not as good on the other - i just rambled about anything in parts. my teacher gave me a target of A* even though ive been consistently getting Bs so im hoping for a high B/low A

doing crap, becoz then if everyone did crap they lower the boundary, becuase they think it was hard

Yeah, for Section A I did the other question on To Kill a Mockingbird. I did mine after doing the poetry, and found it okay.

Section B however... I did Q23 I think it was  The one on Patrolling Barnegat and Storm on the Island, and then Field-Mouse and Sonnet. For the weather bit, part a, I think I did okay, but I could have done a lot better on part b, the summer one.

damn that exam was jus stupid, there wasn't enough time to do it all properly....i think we should protest for 2hrs again!

Surely it doesn't matter about the time - its the same limitations for everyone.

To Kish_Kash_1, I think it was just the firt 2, then the second 2. Dont compre the 2 groups of 2.
