The only people I, as a model, would pay that much to for my photos, are the standard you see on Top Model Cycles...Nigel Barker et al. Even then, i'd be reluctant.(Original post by shane111)
somebody please advise me,.. I went with diesel models had a photo shoot end of july. I dont know if I have got into the scam. I brought the portfolio for £500/ 10 pictures. for direct debt for 4 months., i paid the initial amount of £150.. the remaining amount divided £88.54 for 5 months.. my first payment is on 21st of Aug. somebody please advise me, can I go ahead and pay my first installment or cancel it? can I cancel it now? is it worth spending £500 for 10 pictures. I am confused! ???
It's not a scam if you educate yourself and read their small print. Unless you're with an agency 99% of the time you'd have to pay to build a portfolio (mine was free because it was a complimentary gift with my pageant win, and I did some collaboration projects to boost it, with some up and coming photographers or some newer to the genres I shoot). If you want to build an EXCELLENT portfolio, for a reasonable price, PM me and I may be able to recommend a service.

Very simple : Blue room - pure storm - double take - model advice - uk models - diesel models - models connect - sapphire studio - new id studio - studio for you - daniel brown street - skylight - wire model management - zebra models - replay models - replay models - source models - sapphire models - model stand out -
all a scam and fake business identity done by the same people ! All they want is your money. All their photographers and make up artist are students coming out of school so they don't get paid.
Result - you pay for rubbish pictures and you never get a job !!!!
Be aware of this big mafia out there.

Hey guys, basically the photographer has told me that the person im using is NOT gonna take my bank details, make me sign anything, or charge me anything for the portfolio. I asked what the catch is and he said that client shoots (if i get any) he will get a cut from what the client pays.
This is done due to negative press and shortage of models my age.
Is this all bull crap or ligit guys? Should i go for it as i am near and they said i dont need to sign anything.
