    1) How long did it take for you to receive your UNCONDITIONAL letter of acceptance after you changed the status of BU as "Firm" on UCAS?

    a) Did you also get an electronic version of the letter?

    b) Can an electronic version be printed and used as the visa letter when obtaining the entry clearance/student visa? (I'm an international student)

    2) Is it true that you can't enter the UK as a student more than a month before the start of uni? (28 Sep)

If anyone could give me some insight into matters regarding time+visa (how long I should expect for it to take before I can get my student visa etc), I'd really appreciate it. xox

I haven't received anything yet, but I managed to change mine from Conditional to Unconditional by e-mailing Bournemouth with my results (you need proof obviously), so I attached mine to the e-mail and sent it off.

24 hours later, it was changed so I could apply for accommodation.

Sorry if i've just blabbered on about something completely different lol

    Oh thats kinda odd,

I rang them, and they told me to e-mail someone related to the course that i'm going on, attached my results, I got a response 24 hours later, saying that in another 24 hours, they will change it from Conditional to Unconditional, 4 hours later, it was Unconditional.

So give the uni a ring tomorrow, and they should help you out. Or if you cant ring them, keep e-mailing them.
