    With the students who appear to have excellent grades, yet got 4 rejections, must it have a been a dodgy interview/personal statement that let them down? Because a couple of the applicants have amazing grades, experience, extracurricular, and admissions tests scores yet got 4 rejections

    an admissions tutor at Imperial said that they barely look at the PS so I doubt it.

    They do look at the PS - obviously, you'd have to have a very obvious reason on your PS why you wouldn't make a good doctor.
