Basically any non-English songs. Anything from Russian, French, German, Spanish, Greek to Korean, Japanese, Chinese..ANY foreign language at all. I have music by (off the top of my head) Kyo, Gregory Lemarchal, Edith Piaf, Emilie Simon, Gackt, Utada, Juanes, Olivia Lufkin, Origa etc but I'd love to be introduced to more artists.
What are your favourite foreign artists/songs?

Now this is my kind of thread!
I absolutely adore Reggaeton and Bossa Nova! I recommend you check out Wisin y Yandel (Puerto Rican Reggaeton), Quarteto Em Cy (Brazilian Bossa Nova) and Chambao (Spanish Flamenco Chill).
Here are some youtube links to their songs:

Malajube!
Kind of like a French mix of The Hold Steady and Idlewild? Maybe. -

Łzy and Lady Pank are good Polish bands. "Sugarless Girl" by capsule. "La belle et le bad boy" by MC Solaar. "Au café du temps perdu" by Adamo & Thomas Dutronc. Yelle (I like 'Ce Jeu') and Sigur Ros are obviously good too

There is some good Middle Eastern music out there..
Only name I can conjure up atm is Nancy Ejram - her music is quite poppy, but great to dance to with friendsLast edited by Yasmeenax; 22-07-2009 at 14:32. -
