Where did you buy your GHD's from both times?
My GHD's have been going strong for at least 4 years.

If you send them back they repair them for you as well, I've sent mine back twice now although I have had them for at least 5 years

I've never heard of Jolie. I wouldn't buy a pair that cost £15 though. Before I invested in my first pair of ghds over four years ago, I'd spent a fortune on cheap hair straighteners which did bugger all except dry out my hair. I must have spent way over the £100 that ghds cost in buying loads of cheaper ones.

I really would recommend sticking with ghds, but make sure you buy them from a reputable retailer and get a guarantee. My first pair lasted over three years and I only had to invest in a new pair because a friend messed them up with his stupid hair gel.
