This was raised in a discussion between me and some friends recently. It's probably aimed mainly at girls.

Would you go out with, or perhaps even marry, a transvestite or drag queen? Or is it something you would have a problem with?

No problems with it, but I would find it kind of irritating if he looked better in my dresses than me.

Huh... honestly? If I were going to date a woman, I'd just date a woman.

From a slightly different perspective to what you were aiming at, I'm a gay guy, and for me it would depend on how 'permanent' the other guy's role is. Something every so often wouldn't be that bad (I've thought about dragging up occasionally myself), but if it was something that he didn't really step out of I don't think that I would enjoy it, to be honest.

In case this gets confused, some definitions might be helpful:

transvestite = someone who dresses up in clothes culturally associated with the opposite gender.
drag queen = male transvestite, usually exagerated for show
    drag king = female transvestite
transgendered person = someone whose mental gender doesn't match their physical sex (see plenty of other threads about that here)
transsexual person = someone who has taken some kind of physical steps to change their sex, usually because they are transgendered
homosexual = someone attracted to their own gender
heterosexual = someone attracted to opposite gender

EDIT: Fixed embarrasing mistake; thank you, Ahmed_7

I personally don't see a problem if somebody wants to wear 'differen't clothes. It's only clothes, and it's probably a sort of... bedroom fetish. You can't help what you like, and if people like dressing up, there's no problem with it.

I'd definitely go out with a drag king, I think they're brilliant. Or a transgendered person. Or a transvestite... as someone said, love is love. I've never been attracted to drag queens though, I think their exaggeration is a bit too much for me!

Probably not a 'drag queen' but a cross-dresser, yes.

What happens with the mans dingo? Would the opp simply remove it or give the dude a fully operational verjayjay? If not wouldn't that make someone dating a transsexual person simply gay? :hmmmm:

From my standpoint, a girl dressing like a guy isn't really that shocking. Tbh, no one has a problem with it, and nor should they. I'd happily go out/marry one, their dress sense really doesn't matter.

A guy 'dressing like a girl' is the same for me. If they want to wear a skirt/blouse/whatever, why not? It seems silly to have such social barriers in today's society.

I don't understand if this question is aimed at girls or boys but I wouldn't date a transvestite. I like my men to be men and knowing he liked to dress in womans clothes would be a complete turn off for me. I actually have a friend who is a transvestite and he's has asked me out before and said he wouldn't dress and stuff but I just couldn't, I want to be the only woman in the relationship lol. I understand transgendered people but with transvestites you don't really know why they do it if it's only a part time thing but each to their own I guess.

Girls dress like guys (at least in guys clothes) all the time and noone thinks any the less of it, they look hot in some of it.

Other way round is just something I cannot understand...

I'd date a ****** . She would have to be like the ones in the porn shoots, very passable and attractive. Prefably would of those Black Amazons with a big booty, big tits and a big one. Best of both worlds in my opinion. Wouldn't need persuading bribery, marriage proposal to indulge in bum sex and lets face it an erect penis looks so much more impressive than most axe wounds.

Thing is unless you are rich and I mean rich they won't date you ,they might shag you for free if you are fit but most want someone with coin for a relationship or someone famous like working in the music industry. They are worse than women in that respect. So unless you mind dating one who looks like a man who has to take what she/he can get, might as well date women.
