    Honestly the first thing that came to mind when I read the thread title.

    I've read about his research before. There seems to be a slight contradiction however; a super computer large enough to dedicate a core for each neuron isn't feasible in 10 years according to Moore's law. Perhaps it's possible using an online distribution network similar to the SETI project or [email protected], in which case a multitude of parallels can be drawn to Skynet.
