    Hi guys,

I'm intending to go back to university in the academic year 2010/2011 after having worked for the last 3 years. Im aiming for a 2 year fast track degree at Plymouth Uni.

The student loans company are only willing to support me for 1 year of study. Their 'calculation' is:

length of chosen course + 1 year - years already funded

    so for me thats:

    2 years + 1 year - 2 years already tried and failed

1 year of financial support. They stipulated that it would be my 2nd year too.

So I need to take out a non-governmental loan to cover my first year... anyone got any ideas/suggestions/advice on where to start?

Depends how good your credit rating is, I suppose. Your bank is the obvious place to start.
