how do you define short and long? and yea like the above is any rship short term when you're in it? you only know when you look back at how much time you wasted. :rolleyes:

I put short term relationship because we've only just got together. It doesn't mean that I don't want to be with him for a long time, because I do, I really like him, but I took it to mean that the relationship was at an early stage, whereas long term relationship would mean that you'd been together..well, for a long time :smile:

Short term- relatively new relationship
Long term- established 'long term' relationship

wow, that's just beautiful...

I'd say that a short term relationship is any that you wouldn't call long term. If you've recently started a relationship and have no idea where it's gonna go, I'd call that short term. Nothing to say it couldn't develop into a long term thing though.
