    Yes but you will trail that failed module into your second year. You will have to resit and pass that module alongside your second year mods.

    Try passing it over the re-sit period

    thanks hun,

    i passed my first year but im just checking if other universities allow first years to go into 2nd year with one failed module.

    since my university does not allow this.

    At my university, there is a reassessment period in August. If students fail a module after this, there is usually the opportunity to re-take it the following year. If a student fails more than 120 credits, they are transferred to the Ordinary degree and must repeat the entire year.
