Do they charge you for it?

Dont think so, I think they get it supplied for free. The collector might just get a tad pissed off.

Think they charge £1.50, but if you argue enough you'll probably get away with it...

My mum was an Avon lady for about two months - worst job ever, and they make you buy the catalogues! There's no money in it for the agents unless you have a hell of a lot of clients! Big con.

Kleeneze had to pay for theirs, and quite expensive too. If you don't like it just put it back on the doorstep with a note saying you don't wish to receive it again, that way they it will save them time not having to bother you in the future.

I throw them away because they insult me by posting crap that I dont want through my door.

Most of the time they tend not to collect them anyway. Just leave it outside with a note saying you don't want it or any others in the future. If it's still there after a couple of weeks just throw it out.

The Kleeneze geezer who does our area is mahoosive, so I'd be far to scared of a beating if I threw the catalogue away. Not sure what weedier catalogue people give out as punishments, though

They dump a bag of litter through your door and expect you to pay for it when you (rightfully) throw it away?

If they send you unsolicited items through your door and expect you to pay for them when you throw them away, they can go to hell.

Lol, I was disappointed with this thread (after reading the title) until the last few posts. Phew.

The collector pokes you in the eye.

That job must be boring, putting catalogs through people's letterboxes and then knocking on door of each house asking for them back again... over and over again.
