People whohave made good friends at school are really lucky!

I went into the mindset uni would be the solution to everything - a bit of a let down
I had a similar idea in my head. I was shocked that a quiet girl like me would get on so well with the hall mates i was put with but now,in second year, i dont get on with them that great, but a quiet girl like me cant seem to make many other friends in a tiny uni like mine.

wouldn't make a difference if i did :p: eventually i'd just leave/they'd just leave so it's back to square one. Prefer to keep myself to myself, life is nice and simple that way
I find keeping myself to myself is the easiest way sometimes. Especially if you live with a bunch of people who dont acknowledge you exist anymore :/

One of my biggest regrets in Uni was getting too 'comfortable' with my mates and not making more of an effort getting to know other people.
Ditto. Its actually left me with no mates half way through the course.
