I have had some severe food poisoning and I am currently on the toast and water and have lost the runs. However, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to crack on with eating now because I am feeling hungry all the time and in all honesty I am just waiting for a solid stool.
What will help me regain my energy and health quickest? Is there anything I should really avoid at all costs for the next few days?

You're right by eating the toast. Maybe add beans or something to it? Or eat some fibre such as banana on toast, weetabix/other fibrey cereal? I don't know what the right answer it to be honest, but I wouldn't go for anything too spicey or that would give you an upset stomach of any kind (any further I should say).
