I was watching Dragons Den: Where Are They Now and saw Levi Roots on. I'm wondering how much he or his company is worth?

It's probably the product that has made the most money from Dragons Den.

I doubt he'd even be a millionaire. He will only get royalties, which can't be much.

That sauce seems to be everywhere at the moment. Good for Levi. Just a shame he has to share the profits with that tosser, Pete Jones.

Hmm ... do you think it's worth nationalising?

Then I could sell it again ... for half its real value :awesome:

I don't know if it will be the most financially successful product to come from the Den. Commercially, yes.

I imagine some software products etc has made the most money.

Only thing to bare in mind is 100% of his own work would probably only get him about 10% as far as he already is. So 60% of that is better than 100% of where he'd be on his own.

Is it what they use on those new sandwiches at subway?

Who were responsible for the product selling 50,000 units a week. I'm sure Levi Roots won't mind.

Richard Farleigh also invested as well.

Yeah. The contract from Subway alone must be pretty lucrative.

When I saw him explain the product I thought, brilliant. I thought that it used some sort of process that seperated call centre calls to normal calls through some sort of telephony technology.

Then when he demonstrated it I thought - isn't there a fundamental flaw with this product? What if somebody needs to ring your house and it's an emergency? Maybe I've misunderstood how it works.

I might just go and buy one. Even though it'll be about £5 for a footlong:eek:

I wouldn't have thought so. My guess would either be that plug system from a few years ago that the Dragons properly ripped off the inventors for, or that electrical device that was guaranteed to be a success and the company just wanted a famous face for.
