    Hey there,

I've just got my reply from student finance with how much money I am allowed per year and basically on the form it says:

    Course: Unknown
    TEMPORARY COURSE
    Course Year: 1

I'm just confused as to what this means. Thanks for your replies to anyone who does reply :P

note: my course is a full time (4 year) course.

Did you fill in details of your course during the application? If so, their online systems may not have correctly captured this - the best course of action is probably to call them and ask what's happened.

Ok, I can answer this one thanks to internal knowledge.

A lot of universities have still not updated their databases with the SLC for the 2009/2010 academic year. This means that the courses aren't showing for someone to link up the correct details.

In order to ensure money is received, it's put on a temporary course code, where it will remain until such time as the university update their database at the SLC. It's nothing for you to worry about.
