i did say they'd be diverse
i like all genres of music and so they're my top three whose songs appeal to me most and that i play the most.
    i apologise
my mind was temporarily blown by the diversity of your music taste

mine are not quite so wildly varied
    Gang of Four
    Pixies
    Broken Social Scene

    currently anyway.

If I believe my last.fm in the last 3 months mine are:

    1. Ehren Starks
    2. Ian Anderson
    3. Caste in Bronze
    - not a lyric between them!

If I were to pick myself they would be:

Hmm, only 3 is very difficult and it changes all the time but recently:
Death Cab For Cutie, R.E.M., Thirteen Senses
    Razorlight, Muse, Snow Patrol
The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs
OK that was 3x3 but I kind of fluctuate between them. :p:

How are 3 American artist/groups who all have vocals and are/have been in the "popular" music charts considered diverse? It's hardly a classical orchestra, an electronic "band" thats really a guy in his bedroom and a real band with a singer, is it? That would be diverse
