Saas claiming travel expenses

Hey, I have applied to SAAS and I know you can claim travel expenses at a later date. But what does this mean? Will I get money back for all my tavel expenses, and when? Do i need to prove what I have spent on travel?

Any information appreciated.

Also the bursary that they award if eligible, do you get this at the start of term?

You claim travel expenses at the end of 1st semester. I believe travel expenses is dependant on your parent's income so your parents will have to send proof of this. In my first year, I kept a few train tickets back but they've never asked since so... I guess not.

Do you mean the Young Student's Bursary? Yes, you get a double payment at the start of term.
