Didn't she have friends at work who might have an e-mail address or mobile number for her? If not, give it up as tracking her down would look a bit psycho stalker-ish.

I'd say move on, man. Tough as it is to hear, there are millions out there. It's hard to think that there won't be an identical version of her somewhere else, but you'll soon come through. Good luck with it

If you have a mutual friend that can get you into contact then go for it. Otherwise its a bit obsessive really.

Well I think devestated is being a little melodramatic. You didn't lose anything, you just didn't gain. Girls come and go, plus you havn't necessarily missed out on something special, for you all know the relationship could have been a shambles. More to the point, you don't even know if she would have said yes. Look at it philosophicaly (the hippie way), maybe she was going to say no and this all just saved you from being upset from rejection.

Their are very few girls i would seriously ask out and she was one of them. The last girl i felt the same for was three years ago. I don’t fancy stalking her but i can’t seem to stop thinking about her.

Try and find out her facebook, email or number, and get in contact with her. You've got nothing to lose really.

Posted this twice anonymous and it hasn't shown....O well, i've got nothing to hide so here goes:

So to cut a long emotional story out, heres the basic situation: I’d had some small conversations with a girl while she worked. Now i believe shes quit her job pretty much on the day i was going to ask her out. Should i lay it to rest? And hope another girl just like her pops up one day?
LOL this wasn't posted as anon???
TSR mods must be pretty crap as they approve of certain ppl that hate fat people to be anon - lousy mods.

Unless you have her number, fb, msn or some other way of contacting her (via friend?) I would cut your losses.
