Yeah in most cases BBB would be accepted, unless they specifically want you to have two AS subjects at minimum grade B for one reason or another.

Yes, BBbb is the same as 2 Bs at full A level and 2 Bs at AS. BBB would not meet the offer, but BBBb would. BBCb, with the C having been an A at AS would not meet the offer.

why wouldnt it? so according to this logic if OP got BBBB he would not meet the offer? genuinely interested because that would be quite a silly system imo :p:

I think this depends whether the grades are required in exactly the specified format. If this is the case, then the above quotation is correct. If the university is simply looking for the equivelent, then I think it would meet the terms of the offer.
