work experience with barristers?

I'm about to go ino U6th, and am very keen do shadow a barrister or work in a barristers chambers over the summer.
Does anyone have any contacts that I could use by any chance?!
I've tried ringing and emailing different ones, but some have never taken n work experience placements and have the usual health and safety checks to follow.
Has anyone else done a similar sort of work experience?! x

I shadowed a barrister was pretty fun, just watched odd court cases most of the time. I managed it through a friend's father so not sure how difficult it is to arrange it when you don't know someone but there really isn't very much H&S to consider.

Have you tried e-mailing the individual barristers and expressed interest in following them in particular because of what the field they specialize in? Because although these barristers work from a particular chambers they all seem to very much get on with their own thing.
