    my mate, is he complex?

he likes women, but ***** over gay porn. he even looks at shemale porn on the internet.

i suspect he's even taken it, if you get my meaning. he says that sexuality is fluid, so is he right? is he just a complex person, and should i just leave him be?

it seems weird. how can somebody like girls and boys and still not think they are gay? he says he doesn't like to label himself.

Because if he likes the opposite sex that means he isn't gay

He's probably bisexual, or perhaps he's still discovering his sexual orientation.

You're wrong. It's arguably a little simplistic, but google the Kinsey Scale.

When I felt attraction to both men and women, I identified as "not straight". Many people dislike labelling themselves as they want to just let their feelings dictate who they are attracted to, not the unwritten "rules" of a particular social grouping.

[EDIT] Seriously though, OP - is your mate, you? You're anon, so you can be honest. There's nothing to be ashamed of if you are having these feelings.

    Me.

I'm not ashamed of who I am. Why should I? UK society is actually supportive of gay people and this is reflected in the increase in the number of people who have "come out" as gay.

I find it's mostly banter, people will find any excuse to rip on each other; race, size, accent, haircut...

Unless you're mixing with the tracky bottoms and tn-caps crew, and even then they just seem to hate the camp stereotype more than the boring reality.
