Is anybody getting this/is it worth it?

    £32 for one:

Freshers week Pass - guarentees entry to events, not sure if you can skip the que with them.

Freshers week guide - Tells you all that is happening during the week

Student survival Guide - Useful info on the city and gives some advice i think

Student Diary - has important uni dates

Societies guide - various guides about uni related things.

the only way to get into any of the freshers events (beach party, teviot etc) is with a freshers pass so you have to buy the pack (it's steep but essential)

I bought it! Being new to the city, I decided it'd be worth all the money. Is anyone going to buy the Gold Card? I wasn't sure whether it would be worth the money.

otherwise it is £5 a go at each event, it might even be more this year given the freshers week pass was £25 in my year then £5 an event. At all of the major evening events they only let people in with a freshers week pass so you can't even buy your entry on the door so you need to have it unless you've got plans for freshers week which don't involve going out with your new flatmates!

i thought we must be rahs since we even considered applying to edinburgh - you must have heard how it goes... "if daddy couldnt get me into oxbridge, he'll get me into st. andrews, and if im too dumb for either, well there's always edinburgh" or something along those lines
    :stupid:

protection..protection..protecti on.i might even consider getting an astronaut suit or some gas mask cause we all know about swine flue.
then again i wouldnt want to excite the ladies too much.

and for above replys on £32 being heavy..nevermind that but what about the booze,I will probably buy some 12 packs and keep em in pollocks for the week.
