Right so I sent my forms off at the end of June, this will mean I'll probably be in the last phase of allocations.

Anyway what I want to know is, on the form I gave my preference of 1-4

1 being most wanted place - 4 being least.

But........ I've heard from most people my 1 choice is the most popular and I prob won't get a placing there (and I chose the en-suite option so less likely)

And I checked on google maps and option 4 is closet to my campus, and that may be my favourite now.

So when I get a reply, will they offer me all of my 1-4 choices.

Or is it offer me 2, if 1 not available, 3 if 2 not available, 4 of 3 not available.

Because I don't really want option 2 or 3 now..

    Please help.

depends on the uni, normally helps to say which uni it is :p:

all i know from when i did mine for my uni, you put down in preference order what you want, if you don't get your 1st, then you get your 2nd one and so on

they didn't offer all your choice, it was more like, they sent a letter and a email, that telling you when you have been placed, room and flat number, you can change if there are places free, you need to talk to your accom people see what they say

Gahh I thought this. Yeah sorry UWIC is my Uni.

But I may try e-mailing them saying I changed my preference offers. I really don't want 2 or 3.

If they're not your firm, you might just get your 4th.

e-mail or ring, phoning your get a answer right away, but its a Saturday so they are mostly not working today

if the 4th one is unpopular, it be easy i guess, other wise you could go on a waiting list to change
