    like if someones had a bad week its "i think im depressed" ....umm no your not you had a crap week, we all do at some point. its when its prolonged then i guess its time to see someone but even then you cant diagnose yourself

    same with autism and aspergers, most people have some characteristics to some extent so if people overlook into these things they could be diagnosing themselves with someone they dont have.

    if your not qualified to do so, dont diagnose and especially dont self diagnose

    I think that the culture prevalent in this country of over diagnosis may result in troublesome kids at schools all over the place being "diagnosed" with such conditions, just so teachers can explain their poor perfomance/behaviour. Call me a cynic.
